THE HANDOVER OF PROPERTIES IN HACIENDA RIQUELME GOLF RESORT
This month we are beginning the handover of the first properties in Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort, close to Sucina. This is a Resort which stands out for its wide open spaces and frontline golf apartments. An increased interest has been shown in recent months thanks to its green zones and sports facilities.
This Resort has also benefited from the recent approval of the Santomera - San Javier motorway. The construction of this motorway will mean residents of Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort will easily be able to reach the beach or the capital of Murcia in a matter of minutes.
POLARIS WORLD FOUNDATION REACHES 50 PROJECTS IN AFRICA
The Polaris World Foundation has focussed its effort on the African continent as it is there that most of the poor countries of the world are to be found. The Foundation carries out its objectives for cooperation and development via a triple commitment to provide water, education and health. Within these three areas, the Foundation collaborates with other organisations to aid the development of the most needy African peoples.
During the first three years of its existence, Polaris World Foundation has got 50 projects up and running in 17 Sub-Saharan countries. These include the building of schools and health centres, occupational training schemes, and access to water for both agricultural use and human consumption.
To give some examples, the Polaris World Foundation has collaborated in the building of a school kitchen and dining area and the installation of a generator at a school in the Ivory Coast, has collaborated in improving eye care in Togo, has helped in several educational centres in countries such as Ghana and has aided the occupational training of young people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Another giant step forward The Polaris World Foundation became part of the Spanish International Cooperation Agency (AECI) on the 16th July 2007, as a non-governmental development organisation.
The AECI was created in November 1988 as an Autonomous Body to manage Spanish international cooperation for development policy. It is responsible for the design, the carrying out and the management of the cooperation for development projects and programmes, either directly with its own resources, or via collaboration with other national and international organisations and non-governmental organisations.
To help with the task, the AECI has 36 Cooperation Technical Offices, 12 Cultural Centres and 3 Training Centres, located in the countries where the agency carries out its main cooperation projects.
Code of Conduct Since its creation in July 2004, the Polaris World Foundation has taken inspiration from the moral values and principles of good government as management tools to guarantee the effectiveness and efficiency of actions and aid programmes in collaboration with other non-profit making organisations.
These principles and criteria make up a fundamental set of rules of conduct and give direction to the philosophy and actions of the institution, including transparency, firm commitment, active listening, cooperation and solidarity, cooperation and sensitivity to name just a few.
POLARIS WORLD TO OPEN A NEW OFFICE IN PARIS
Polaris World is continuing its expansion throughout Europe with the opening of a sales office in Paris. This new branch will ensure better coverage in France, offering the necessary material, information on our products, a personal service.
It is also hoped this office will become one of the most important sales points as France provides one of the company's potential markets. This will be the tenth Polaris World office abroad.

TENNIS LESSONS FOR POLARIS WORLD RESIDENTS
Polaris World is starting a new service to provide a more varied sporting offer in our Resorts. The residents of Mar Menor Golf Resort and La Torre Golf Resort now have the opportunity of improving their backhand or volley over the net.
The lessons will be given by qualified teachers in a comfortable teaching environment. All that you have to do is convince your partner or friends to spend some time with you playing tennis. Prices start from €35.00 for a one off lesson and become cheaper with volume bookings.
